Just outside Wedde, away from the main road, you find BuitenWedde: a large farmhouse of almost 100 years old on 6000 m2 of land.
In the farmhouse, which is also our home, there are three apartments.
They can be rented separately or collectively as group accommodation.
The heart of our grounds is the park-like garden with old trees and pond.
At the back of the property is a natural camping area with four tent sites and six sleeping cabins. In 2025 the campground is open from April 18 to Oct. 26.
We are Judith and Paul, and would love to meet you at BuitenWedde. And the dog can come along 🙂

Discover Westerwolde
Westerwolde is a secret treasure of Groningen. It’s being discovered and appreciated by more and more people in recent years. In Westerwolde you will find old traditional farms and beautiful nature with forest, heathlands, stream valleys and meandering rivers such as the Ruiten Aa. There are several nature reserves and this makes the area ideal for hiking and biking. You can take a canoe or mountain bike adventure or visit Bourtange.
In this part of the Netherlands, it is still very quiet and the nights are dark (unless it’s a full moon offcourse…)
